Lindsey + DeVon
A Breakfast at Tiffany’s Inspired Wedding at Stonebrook Manor
We first met this couple at our engagement session with them, where we had a blast hanging out with them and their two cute French bull dog pups, Penny and Sheldon! Lindsey and DeVon met in downtown Denver about 7 years ago, and we absolutely loved being a part of their wedding and capturing these beautiful images for them! What stood out to us was the amazing care and detail they put into every little thing – from their hand made invitations and programs to Lindsey’s incredible jewel-studded Converse shoes (be-dazzled by herself), everything was thought through and beautifully made. We also LOVED that they made their photo time a priority! Of course we’re a little biased, but we think planning in enough time for bride and groom portraits is totally worth it – I mean, look at how many gorgeous photos they have to remember their wedding by!
A couple other incredible side notes – Lindsey’s bridesmaid and best friend Nicolle MADE her wedding cake! Wait til you see it, it’s amazing! Lindsey also said “we are avid Chuck Taylor lovers so, all the groomsman and groom will be in fancy Chuck Taylor shoes. I will also be wearing Chuck Taylors that I personally customized myself….. took me 4 days. Flower girls will be wearing chucks too that I made. Our first dance song will actually be the same song the grooms father and step mother danced to at their wedding. All the decorations including the table center pieces, isle runners, arch decor, program fans, yard games outside, bridesmaid bouquets, cake table and sign in table were made by myself and my team of my mom, sister and sister in law Michelle.” WOW – I thought we did a lot for our wedding! I also loved that Lindsey’s sister works at a salon and did her hair and makeup.
Oh, and don’t let me forget the Breakfast at Tiffany’s theme that was woven throughout all the details! We loved the clever “Young & Co” motto that we kept seeing throughout the day, plus the colors are gorgeous.
Lindsey and DeVon, thank you so much for letting us be a part of your day! We loved seeing the community of people who helped bring this day together, it’s clear you both have amazing families who love you and will support you as you begin this adventure of marriage. Congratulations!
